We have begun implementing a social and humanitarian project aimed at helping and supporting vulnerable categories of the population in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions!
The NGO “Agency for Sustainable City Development” in partnership with the NGO “100% Life” has launched the implementation of the socio-humanitarian project “From Vulnerability to Strength: A Comprehensive Protection Initiative”. The project is being implemented in 2025–2026 in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF).
The war caused numerous losses and hardships to the residents of the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. Our project is designed to provide comprehensive support to vulnerable categories of the population: internally displaced persons, people who have lost their livelihoods, people with disabilities and chronic diseases, those who have lost their homes or live in critical housing conditions, people who support children on their own, the elderly living alone, as well as large families. This project is our joint response to the urgent need for support.
The project in Kharkiv and Sumy regions includes:
???? Multipurpose cash assistance to cover basic needs
???? Mobile psychosocial support for 2,300 people through individual and group consultations
???? Conducting 75 information and educational sessions in safe spaces for women and girls on gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health
???? Distributing 1,500 dignity kits for women and girls in crisis situations
???? Case management - individual support for 150 people in difficult life circumstances
???? Responding to cases of gender-based violence with the provision of crisis assistance and referral to appropriate services
???? Conducting an information and educational campaign in the regions
This project is about transforming vulnerability into strength, about providing comprehensive assistance to those who need it most. Together we are creating a support network that helps people not only survive, but also recover from difficult life circumstances.
Helping those in need!
