Mobile communities: psychologists and social workers provide psychosocial assistance to residents of the Kharkiv region!

The Kharkiv region continues to suffer from the consequences of military operations. Residents of frontline and affected areas face daily challenges that require not only physical recovery, but also psychological support.
As part of the project “From Vulnerability to Strength: Comprehensive Protection Initiative” in the Kharkiv region, two mobile teams are operating, providing comprehensive assistance directly in communities. We understand that after the events experienced, it is difficult for people to go anywhere, so we come to those who need support ourselves.
Experienced specialists, namely psychologists and social workers, help people cope with the consequences of the war.

Area of work: Bogodukhiv, Kharkiv and Chuguyevsky districts

Each team includes 3 psychologists and 2 social workers. They travel to communities to provide comprehensive psychosocial support in the form of individual and group consultations.

In addition to mobile teams, the project employs 3 social workers who specialize in working with socially vulnerable groups. This is a separate team of specialists that provides targeted support to the most vulnerable groups.
Our work is aimed at ensuring that every person feels that they are not left alone with their problems. We provide assistance and support free of charge and confidentially.
